Write for the Community 😀

:scale is more than just a blog, it’s an architectural community. We would like to invite you to contribute your ideas and experiences that can help fellow students. Whether you want to share tutorials, life tips or just your thoughts on design; please contact us!

Guidelines ❌

Send us an email titled ‘Contribute’ with the following:

  • A short bio about yourself (max 50 words), your background in architecture and your interests.
  • A list of up to 3 topics or ideas for what you want to write about
  • If you’re a keen bean, send us a shared Google doc link of a first draft!

What can you share? 🤔

We want to encourage our readers to think ‘out of scale’, the world of design so grand, it’s impossible put everything in a list but here is a list of what we have so far:

  • Tutorials

We can’t cover everything because it’s impossible to know everything! The best way of learning is by exchanging your knowledge. Did you have to struggle with a drawing or a model? Chances are there are other students who are going through it now. Share your tips and tricks to help out!

  • Advice

“Do as I say, not as I do.” We all make mistakes in life, that’s how we learn as individuals. But to evolve as a community we need to help other from repeating the same mistakes. Want to share your advice for surviving university? Or how to stay organised?

  • Experience

If you have expert knowledge or just a different point of view, let us know so that we can share your experiences with the archi-community.

  • Commentary

Do you want to speak out on a topic that needs the spotlight? Go for it. We welcome all kinds of opinions and commentary on issues in this industry.

If you have ideas outside of this, you are more than welcome to share, we are sure we can cater to your interests!
