hey, I'm Sana!

After I finished my architecture degree, I felt like an imposter in the industry.

I came out of university having struggled to keep up with my peers and learn about architecture. Most of the skills I had learnt were self-taught so I wanted to share it with others who were also finding it difficult.

That summer, I set up :scale as a little space online where I could share weekly blogs and give back to the architecture community.

Fast forward to now, and I've built a community of over 26,000 individuals, curated the world's first architecture online convention, MADCon, published a crowdfunded magazine and taught students in a cohort course.

I also completed my Masters and am now working as a creative designer with the goal to create an inclusive and collaborative archi-community. I post content about navigating university, building a digital identity and healthy productivity.
